The home accessories range includes cushions, lamp shades, lamp bases, tableware and hurricane lamps. All designed by Penny Morrison the pieces are made by highly-talented artisans in rural communities across the globe. By working with these craftsmen and women, Penny Morrison seeks to help sustain traditional skills that are becoming endangered in the face of mass production and manufacturing. Born and raised in South Africa and now living between Wales and London, Penny Morrison takes her design inspiration from cultures around the world and throughout history. From Turkish embroidery to Japanese textiles, Penny’s far-reaching sources of influence come together in a vibrant collection that presents irresistibly colourful prints and patterns to complement any style or space. Key pieces in the collection include jewel-toned hurricane lamps, hand-painted marble-effect ceramics and corner-tasselled cushions made with a combination of Penny’s own line of fabrics. Further to the online ranges, Penny Morrison will continue to introduce limited-edition collections throughout the year featuring unique pieces such as rugs, slipper chairs and ottomans. These exclusive collections will be showcased on the website and available to purchase in store. Describing her accessories collections Penny Morrison explains – “These pieces are designed to encourage people to be bolder when it comes to decorating a space.
