Designed with busy families in mind, the Ninja Foodi DZ401 model is one of the best air fryers for those who want to upgrade their kitchen this Black Friday. Thanks to the two large inserts and DualZone cooking technology, this air fryer allows you to cook two different foods in different ways and still have dinner on the table at the same time. Usually $229.99, the Ninja Foodi DZ401 6-in-1 XL 2-Basket Air Fryer is now only $197.95 at Wayfair (opens in new tab). Oh, and there is free shipping too! With a discount on this model incredibly rare, even at this time of year, Wayfair’s offer is easily one of the best Black Friday home deals I have seen all week. The Ninja Foodie XL 2-basket air fryer lets you cook two foods, in two ways and finish at the same time. This bigger and faster air fryer has xl 10-qt. capacity and includes six versatile cooking functions making it perfect for cooking for the family. When I wrote my Ninja Foodi DZ401 6-in-1 XL 2-Basket Air Fryer review in May this year I noted just how easy it was to set up and use the machine fresh out of the box (which is largely recyclable I might add). Like many air fryers, the instructions are simple, and, while this model doesn’t explicitly state it needs to be preheated before use, it certainly helps to get the machine up to the right temperature to help get the ball rolling. If you have used air fryers before and picked up on some of the important things to know about air fryers, then you will be happy to know that many of the tricks and benefits of air fryers such as shaking the basket halfway through cooking, adding a little bit of oil, and the fact food cooks rapidly remain the same with this model with the added benefit of being able to tackle two different foods at once. With double the baskets, however, came double the controls, which certainly had me facing a learning curve in the beginning. With so many settings and I found myself easily confused at first – especially between the Match and Smart Finish settings, however, a few weeks of use was enough to get used to the layout and functions of the large appliance. The fryer is a dream to clean too, which is more than I can say for some of the other air fryers on the market. Both baskets can easily be thrown in the dishwasher (a feature that not many air fryers boast) and the manual dials and buttons, as opposed to a smooth touchscreen, means there are fewer greasy fingerprints to clean up afterward keeping your kitchen appliance looking sleek use after use. If I didn’t already have one I would certainly be snapping one up this Black Friday, will you?
