The neoclassical property, built in 2021 (according to tax records), is a celebration of Tennessee architecture, surrounded by forest greenery in the country music capital. Its distinct arches and serene white façade make the property one of the most charming in Nashville and, consequently, one of the world’s best homes. And its assets continue beyond the wooden front door. The former owner, Kacey Musgraves, is a six-time Grammy Award-winning singer who also holds seven Country Music Association Awards and three Academy of Country Music Awards to her name. Dirt (opens in new tab)reports that the singer paid interior designer Louisa Pierce $1.9 million for the home around two years ago – following her divorce from singer Ruston Kelly. Fellow country singer Kelsea Ballerini is known for her songs half of my hometown and Roses, with the Chainsmokers. She recently finalized her divorce from Australian country music singer Morgan Evans. During her ownership, Louisa Pierce, from Pierce & Ward (opens in new tab), used the home as a canvas for maximalist decorating ideas that the firm is so well known for. However, following her divorce, Kacey Musgraves sought the help of minimalist designer Lindsay Rhodes (opens in new tab) who transformed the home into a haven – drenched in neutral paint colors from Farrow & Ball. The home’s color ideas are primarily white, cream, and beige, with the exception of the dusty pink music room and al-fresco dining area that is pained a pale yellow hue. Other stand-out spaces include the airy dining space, complete with a marble-topped dining table and statement vase that demands attention in the space. Meanwhile, upstairs, the bedroom ideas are something to behold. The main suite boasts a custom-built bookcase that perfectly frames the neutral bedhead and a statement plant, which is a favorite feature in many of the rooms. The home also has a plant and book-filled art room that leads to the verdant garden – complete with a spa, saltwater pool, and patios large enough for entertaining. There is also a separate guest-house on site. It is not yet known where Kacey Musgraves will relocate, but Dirt suggests the Texas native reportedly plans to stay in the Nashville area. It is the beating heart of country music, after all.
