Styles, who released his third studio album titled Harry’s House in May 2022, bought the property sitting above the Sunset Strip in 2016 for $6.87 million. Just a few years later, in 2019, the British singer put the house back on sale and let it go for a discounted $6 million – losing out on his $870,000 real estate investment. As of now, the mid century modern style house is, according to a report from Dirt (opens in new tab), the modern Los Angeles home belongs to Singapore-based tech mogul Patrick Grove, who is worth a whopping $400 million, as reported by Forbes (opens in new tab). Listed by Oppenheim Group, the property is no stranger to the Hollywood spotlight as the sale between Styles and Grove was revealed in an episode of the hit real estate reality show Selling Sunset. The property’s sale is currently being managed by luxury real estate broker The Oppenheimer Group with Selling Sunset star/agent Emma Hernan handling the multimillion dollar listing. Located in the Sunset Strip and just a short drive away from West Hollywood in L.A., the home is 4,401 square feet and fits four bedrooms and six bathrooms. Sitting on a lot size of 0.25 acres, the property is kept private by a long driveway and is surrounded by lush greenery made up of bamboo trees – making it the perfect hideaway for paparazzi bait and the mega famous. Inside the compound, the open-plan concept design allows for seamless movement between the indoor and outdoor space within the living areas and some bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that slide open and close with ease. In the main bedroom, another major draw is the city-sweeping views from downtown Los Angeles all the way to the ocean. The en-suite bathroom also offers city views and spa-like add-ons. Beyond that, the floors are hardwood, and the kitchen is outfitted with white, modern cabinets to suit the house’s contemporary feel. The house is also equipped with a gym and an in-home theater for cozy nights in. Merging the outdoor and indoor spaces are spacious balconies on each floor. On the entertaining floor, the wide balcony can generously fit a six-seater table and additional outdoor living furniture. On the level housing the main bedroom, the homeowner can enjoy a balcony that spans the length of the house with only a glass wall separating the indoor and outdoor. The outdoor spaces boast of equally cool features, such as a kidney-shaped swimming pool and a deck overlooking the Los Angeles city skyline. In the completely private backyard, the swimming pool comes complete with a raised jacuzzi and is surrounded by a forest of tall bamboo trees. The “As It Was” singer owned the Los Angeles house from 2016 to 2019, which was around the same time Styles was touring and working on his second studio album Fine Line released in Dec. of 2019. On the album were tracks, such as the sultry “Watermelon Sugar,” the upbeat “Golden,” and the romantic “Adore You,” – three hit singles that ultimately sealed his superstar status. As referenced earlier, the former One Directioner has since released his third album titled Harry’s House in the summer of 2022 and consequently embarked on his Love On Tour with tour dates scheduled in cities around the globe. Outside of his musical career, Styles has recently earned lead roles and starred in big ticket films, including Don’t Worry Darling released in Sept. 2022 and My Policeman released in Oct. 2022. The former project garnered a firestorm of media attention as a result of his relationship with actor/director Olivia Wilde. Take the tour of the house at Oppenheim Group (opens in new tab).
